On September 10, 2023, we had the honor of hosting Daijiro Miyake-san and Ken Nakamura-san from As Loop to speak on diversity from the perspective of Asexuality/Aromanticism (Aro/Ace).

They explained the concept of intimacy beyond romantic or sexual relationships and highlighted intriguing facts, such as the 0.8% of individuals identifying as Asexual. It was an eye-opening lecture even for those who is directly involved as a sexual minority.

Creating an environment amplifies the voices of those involved is crucial to shape a society that respects each person’s happiness and peace of mind. This isn’t solely a concern for Asexual/Aromantic individuals but is a goal that Rainbow Chiba aims to contribute to—shaping a society that embraces diversity.
